This Privacy Policy describes how Governance App ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), developed and operated by Raymon Bikram Basnyat ("the Developer"), collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the App available on Google Play.
Governance App is a citizen service platform that allows users to submit complaints to local government/municipal authorities, view government notices and documents, and receive status updates and notifications related to their submissions.

We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts, camera/microphone access beyond photo attachments you voluntarily upload, citizenship/national ID numbers, or payment information.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, resolve complaints, comply with legal obligations, and maintain audit records. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data as described in Section 7, subject to statutory retention requirements for government/audit records.
Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. Access to complaint and user data is restricted through role-based permissions, and administrative actions are recorded in audit logs. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Governance App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
The App may display links to third-party government websites or resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party sites.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
